The Tremé are an established funk and soul band, who perform authentic covers and are comprised of some of the best professional musicians in the Northwest. The Tremé offer a slick, stylish, professional performance with no downtime between songs and guarantee to get everyone dancing to the Tremé beat.

Born out of a mutual love of the work of The Wrecking Crew, The Swampers and The Funk Brothers, the band is available featuring drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals with a three-piece brass section. This line up can be extended to include additional backing vocalists and percussion for the full Funk Brothers experience. Fronted by the sensational lead vocals of Amber Kuti and Elly Grice, the band showcase a blend of established professional musicians, including a former World Champion brass player, an Ashdown Amps endorsed bass player and a Royal National Ballet accompanist.

The band has a wealth of experience of performing across the UK and internationally for a range of corporate, private and leisure clients. They expect the highest standards of each other with regard to musicianship and showmanship to ensure that every performance is unique and special for those in attendance. Focusing firmly on Soul and Funk, each show explores the hits of Motown, Stax, Chess and Northern Soul, as well as putting a unique stamp upon a variety of classic and contemporary floor fillers. The band work to ensure that the dance floor is full and that the most enjoyable time possible is had by all.

As well as high expectations of themselves on stage, they expect the same off stage in dealing with clients. They work to build an effective working relationship with every client, no matter the scale of job, to ensure that every event is dealt with in a manner that makes the client’s occasion really special. The Tremé happily accept first dance requests, and will work to adapt their setlist to the request of each client. As well as a full band experience, The Tremé can offer background music, or accompaniment for any part of any event across a range of genres; be it a wedding breakfast or a gala dinner. A full lighting rig and high specification sound system accompany them wherever they go, and as a result, a DJ/Disco service is also available to ensure that the event embodies the atmosphere intended by the host.
